Susan Silver

Susan B. Silver has more than 20 years of selling and leasing commercial properties as well as providing property management and financial analysis. In 1996, she and Daniel Hyman founded Millennium Properties as a brokerage and property management company focused on commercial properties throughout Chicagoland. Currently, Susan is President at Millennium Properties, where she has completed more than 750 real estate transactions totaling more than $1 billion.

Susan’s experience with all commercial property types enables her to provide insight to her clients during every phase of a transaction, whether they are individual owners, developers or institutional clients. Leveraging her strong business background with her real estate knowledge, she is able to provide superior service and strategic counsel to her clients.

Prior to co-founding Millennium, Susan worked at Arthur Andersen & Co. and VMS Realty Partners, where she specialized in taxation of real estate, providing her with the necessary foundation to excel in all aspects of real estate. She also worked for Benj. E. Sherman & Sons in a role focused on turning around troubled assets.

Susan supports the Lynn Sage Cancer Research Foundation, where she spearheaded the Light the Way to Find Cure Campaign, when Chicago turns pink in October in the ongoing effort to find a cure for breast cancer. Susan also is a member of the board of directors at the Jewish United Fund and Vice President of the board at the Standard Club.
