I have lived in Reno my entire life, other than a brief love with Seattle long ago. Places where our dad once could take us shooting in peace and safety - other than from ourselves - have for years since been vast tracts of homes, comp shingle seas with no shine. Other than The Distance getting farther and farther away, Reno/Sparks has only gotten better over these decades. I am proud of this home.
In 1998, my first broker said during the interview that she didn't like me, then hired me. In 2000, I became the company's property manager.
In 2004, I asked her for a raise because, well, who wouldn't? Her reply: "Why don't I just sell the property management accounts to you?" This required the signatures of all the clients on new contracts, and it is an honor to report that every single client signed on with our new little company. And on April 11, 2005 we opened our doors as Corazon Real Estate.
I haven't been part of the Startup Craze; we have just kept growing this company into one of the largest residential property management companies in the region. We take away pain, help people understand and plan, and do our part for landlords and tenants in nearly everything from Birth to Death.
In my down time, I think about things while running a few miles; play at the Reno Chess Club, learn at Reno Aikido, am amazed by my kids, and especially by my wife, Changer of Body Weights and Lifetimes.
