About Wallisa
Prior to becoming a Realtor, Wallisa was the Administrator of affordable housing programs at the Florida Housing Finance Corporation (FHFC). During her 7 year tenure at FHFC, she assisted first time home buyers with over $1 billion in low interest rate loans and down payment assistance. Her journey as an entrepreneur started in real estate investing and later grew into a full-time real estate career, helping others achieve their buying and selling real estate goals.
Wallisa's specialty is residential, investment, and small scale commercial sales. Though she assists buyers and sellers with various types of real estate transactions, she holds a special place in her heart for first time home buyers and veterans.
To her, Wallisa's most notable personal accomplishment is obtaining a B.S. in Business Economics and a Master of Applied Social Sciences degree from Florida A&M University as a young, single mother. She has been very fortunate to raise two beautiful, intelligent, witty, loving and supportive daughters, Kiara (29) and Imani (18). She currently serves as the Tallahassee Board of Realtors Equal Opportunity Committee Chair. She served on the Leon County Affordable Housing Advisory Committee as Chair from 2013-2019. Some of Wallisa's other professional accomplishments include: 2019 Tallahassee Woman Magazine Women Who Mean Business Award Winner, 2018 Big Bend Community Development United Housing Partnership Empowering Communities Civil Rights Award Recipient, 2018 Tallahassee Democrat Volunteer of the Year Nominee, 2018 Tallahassee Democrat Top 25 Women to Know, 2017-2020 Top 5% of Producing Realtors, 2016 Top 10% of Producing Realtors, 2015 Top 20% of Producing Realtors, 2015 & 2014 MWBE Business of the Year Nominee, 2013 Tallahassee NYP Golden, and Top ACE Awards Winner.
