I would like to see more school safety within the building, like more officers or administrators around the building.

Abington Senior High School has wonderful programs for students looking to get involved in AP classes or club activities. Along with great programs in place to receive help when you are struggling to understand a topic. Much of this though gets disturbed by students who have no desire to be in school so they wander the halls and cause disruptions for those who want to learn. These kids face little to no repercussion for their actions so they just continue to do as they please.

Abington has given me unique hands on oppertunties in the video arts which My major will be. The teachers are massively qualified, including having the grammy nominated Kevin Longwill in it's music department. His M3 club is innovative and a lovely addition to the arts program. I think the school has a pretty serious overcrowding issue which could be solved by building another High School similar to what Bucks County has.

This district is an embarrassment. They hide anything not pretty on paper. The bullying and violence is outrageous. This was once shining school district that is falling behind other townships. The expansion of the high school has been a disaster. The administration has been inept at dealing with an expanding population and ensuring that kids still have the needed resources to succeed. If we could move or afford...
