This is a school for academic excellence. Only 50 students from Aiken, South Carolina are selected to attend. It is compacted with AP classes in your freshman and sophomore year. During your junior and senior years, you are fully immersed in the campus of USCofAiken. You attend college classes and receive credits for attending. Overall, if you seek an academic challenge this is the school for you.

Aiken Scholars Academy is a warehouse of academically gifted kids. The best part of my experience are the fun activities the student body setup. The worst part is the homework load and how small the class size is, so you're really limited on the people you are friends with. It's hard to find people with common interests.

The small environment makes everyone a family and everyone is helpful. The academics are amazing and prepares you for college.
