Revere Middle School, teaching about 700 sixth through eighth grade students, recognizes the importance of these academically and socially transformative years. The school curriculum focuses on languages, math, social studies and science. Elective courses include coding, robotics, pottery and ceramics, choir, and orchestra. Revere Middle School also emphasizes student involvement in extracurricular activities and has innovative offerings such as gaming club, diversity club, speech and debate, yearbook, journalism, and Esports. Enrichment programs include art, genetics and chemistry. Teachers and administrators communicate through an online progress book, Google Classroom and Blackboard. Students are introduced to technology in the classrooms and can also check out iPads for use. The daily schedule sets aside 30 minutes at the end of the school day that students can use for homework or extra instructional time. Students may also attend school assemblies or enrichment programs during this period.
