GreatSchools Rating
The GreatSchools Rating helps parents compare schools within a state based on a variety of school quality indicators and provides a helpful picture of how effectively each school serves all of its students. Ratings are on a scale of 1 (below average) to 10 (above average) and can include test scores, college readiness, academic progress, advanced courses, equity, discipline and attendance data. We also advise parents to visit schools, consider other information on school performance and programs, and consider family needs as part of the school selection process.

The facilities and programs at this school are great and relatively new but the overall mood and school spirit here is incredibly low.

For the most part I like myself school but there is a sense of laziness with the students. Everyone is rude and never respects the teachers. They always vandalize property and smoke in the bathroom. Not many people show up to class, so the classes are getting easier and easier to pass I feel like I just have to show up and I will get a C at least. I do love most of the teachers, especially the supportive ones that have helped me with college essays, assignments and with a club I am in. In all honesty, I think my school has many, many resources for tutoring, clubs, mental health, etc. But no one seems to take advantage of it like they should. I wish I could see the student's attitudes change. I don't think a lot of them understand how privileged they are to even be able to go to school, let alone get free breakfast and lunch, have free mental health resources, computers, tutoring, and overall education.

Del Norte is a good school with good teachers and faculty and the buildings have been updated to be more modern. There are many clubs and activites they offer and they have many resources for students.

It's a really great school I recommend it, the numbers and data can't show the experience and other aspects you gain from this school.
