Both of my children have had great teachers and sub-par teachers here. My understanding is that it's a high bar to be bilingual and teach in the IB format, so there is high turnover. The principal sells the program well to incoming parents, but overall we have been disappointed with gaps in my children's education, lack of sensitivity towards families, and the bilingualism being more performative then a sustainable piece of their program.

I apprecite NMIS IB curriculum as well as my children receiving instructions in multiple languages (three by later elementary school).

I have been at NMIS since kindergarten, and it has been an amazing experience. I am now a seventh grader. This school has affected me positively in so many ways. I have learned how to be knowledgeable, kind, open minded and so much more. I am also in the NMIS student council (Middle School Vice President) and I have attended many of the events held by the student council. Most importantly this school has taught me how to be a leader. I am sad I only have one more year left but I also feel fulfilled with the experiences, and memories I have made at NMIS.

This is a great school IF you have the right teacher. We had a couple of wonderful teachers, but it seemed like the other teachers were hired solely because they spoke Spanish.
