I would not recommend anyone to go to this school, they have good teachers and their resources are much larger but the administration is awful. they are terrible at relating information to the new students, I started my first year there and they have school events that happen every year and I had no idea it was happening and missed the whole thing, no one really tells you anything unless you've been at the school since 6th grade, and if you start as a new student in high school, forget making friends everyone has already found their group of friends and are not looking for any new ones, the school is very "clicky", the administration gives terrible advice I was made to switch my math class for my junior year because I didn't do too well in my sophomore year, not because of my self but because of the teacher, now I am one math class behind everyone in my grade, and the math class I am taking is the easiest class ever, and I will be unprepared for college now, due to the dean of students

I did summer school at Sandia Prep from pre-k to 4th grade and always knew that I would come here. I love my close relationship with teachers even if I don't have their class anymore. I plan to go to film school and I love our film program. I feel free to be creative and use our cameras and professional editing software. I feel like all of my teachers want me to do my best.

The classes are challenging, and the class sizes are small which allows students to form relationships with the teachers. I feel prepared to enter the world of college academics.

The school is an expensive way to get your kid into college and prepares your child to pass college entrance exams, but does not provide a good education or learning resource. Further more, the school overstepped it's boundaries in siding with my child's Father in a family domestic case, in which th...

I have had my son and daughter in Sandia Prep for the past 3 years, and they are just starting their fourth. We chose Sandia Prep because they use current teaching methods that have been demonstrated to be highly effective, rigorous, inclusive, and enjoyable by many academic studies. I know this bec...

As a parent of two very different children, Sandia Prep positively surprises us on a daily basis. The Outdoor Leadership Program (aka: OLP) takes advantage of New Mexico's vast and beautiful nature and allows the children to get to know each other (and themselves) on a deep level. The academics are...

My daughter chose to enter Sandia Prep in sixth grade because she liked the food in the cafeteria. However, she got much more from her seven years there than quality salads. The smaller class sizes allowed her teachers to give her the individual attention that helped her shine. Coupled with the smal...
