GreatSchools Rating
The GreatSchools Rating helps parents compare schools within a state based on a variety of school quality indicators and provides a helpful picture of how effectively each school serves all of its students. Ratings are on a scale of 1 (below average) to 10 (above average) and can include test scores, college readiness, academic progress, advanced courses, equity, discipline and attendance data. We also advise parents to visit schools, consider other information on school performance and programs, and consider family needs as part of the school selection process.

Marlington is a small town kind of school. Not a ton of students and everyone knows everyone. The teachers are great.

My experience was a pretty normal experience in my opinion. One thing i wish was different was that we were better prepared for college and they introduced ccp sooner. I feel as though they purposefully didn't introduce ccp so people wouldn't take the opportunity and I wish I would have known about it sooner to be better prepared.

Better faculty that doesn't neglect those whose parents don't work for the school or donate money for the school.

The school, while an environment with many ready teachers, has severe lack in funding toward upkeep of the school, the administration changed every year of my career there, leading to an unstable environment with rampant bullying.

Marlington High School and the Marlington School District as a whole is an extremely underfunded, poorly run, poorly maintained school district. The schools were built during the Cold War, and are quite literally falling apart, the classrooms are beige and headache inducing with harsh lights. Which...

True we don't have the funding some of the surrounding schools do, but teachers and students sacrifice and work together to achieve goals and to help the community. We a...

If you are readying this review beware! Marlington local schools are incredibly underfunded and low quality. The learning environments are extremely poor and lacks quality leadership at all levels.
