Andover high school thrives on sports and college readiness. There is virtually no diversity & no culture. The reason they are so successful in their college readiness is because they are quick to expel any student who doesn't adhere to their standards immediately. This is a very conservative school.

During my time at Andover High School, the thing I look back I'm most proud of is when I moved to Andover Minnesota in 10th Grade, from Grand Forks North Dakota. My dad had found a truck driving job where he did not have to Put too much of a strain on his body and could still support me and my younger step-siblings as he got older. I moved 3 days before school started. So on the first day I didn't know anyone, I was nervous and intimidated because Andover High School was much bigger than my old high school. I remember on my first day of school at Andover there was a pep fest, I was scared because when I walked into the gym I didn't know where or who to sit by, but I remember some kids seeing me and signaling to come sit with them. by them doing such a simple act made my day. as I look back, moments like that are just other reasons I'm glad I landed in Andover.

I had great experiences with teachers, but the counseling system could use some help and so can the sports faculty.

this school is terrible. the teaching sucks kids dont learn anything and stidents here are bullies. and none of the staff care about bullying they just carry on with there day. i promise u if anyone says this is a good school they ARE WRONG!!!
