GreatSchools Rating
The GreatSchools Rating helps parents compare schools within a state based on a variety of school quality indicators and provides a helpful picture of how effectively each school serves all of its students. Ratings are on a scale of 1 (below average) to 10 (above average) and can include test scores, college readiness, academic progress, advanced courses, equity, discipline and attendance data. We also advise parents to visit schools, consider other information on school performance and programs, and consider family needs as part of the school selection process.

My overall experience is fairly good, our shining star is our magnet programs as they offer a look into the medical and engineering field and we have a variety of AP classes =to get you ready for rigorous work that colleges might through at you as well as opportunity in Dual enrollments and some that are even on campus.

Another thing, there are far too many fights. Some of the students in the classes are far too disruptive. Some of the teachers a...

Had 3 children with disabilities graduate from AHS. The administrators, counselors, and teachers were mindful and accommodating regarding their physical and academic needs. Two have attained Master's degrees while the youngest is working towards his Bachelor's.
