Highland elementary school was the first school I ever went to and it opened many opportunities to meet new people. In the school, people were moderately kind, and the teachers were amazing. However, the food was horrible, and the culture was undesirable.

We have two kids with special needs that go to highland and the teachers are absolutely amazing. They even come to home visits. We had 2 kids go through Highland. We loved the teachers. They have a great gifted program that challenged the kids. The staff seemed to really care about the kids. The after school program through the Y was great too... Especially John! We miss him! The students are welcoming. It's a great school!

We love Highland simply because the teachers and the principal cares about their students. They always make an effort to help the kids think outside the box. It is a good school.
