I have had a good experience at Aptos High School, the school is very inclusive. I have participated in student government and leadership all four years, and this was such a positive decision.

The school is pretty ok. The teachers do a good job in teaching the curriculum but let a lot slide that shouldn't slide when it comes to the students

I've had a really good experience so far. The teachers are all so kind and helpful with courses that are set up to challenge students. Aptos also offers various AP and honors courses which allows students to challenge themselves and maximize their learning. I feel like such options really allow for a lot of growth here. Worst academic experiences at Aptos are mostly in the Spanish department as there's been a shortage of spanish teachers after COVID lockdown and students don't really know or understand what to do/ say.

Academics is mediocre. The girl’s volleyball program would be better if they had a coach with more experience, a personality and compassion for his players. Hunter Zeng lacks interpersonal and intrapersonal skills to run a successful program. He wants the attention to be on him and not his players....

My son has had a positive experience here. Although I hear reports of bullying, this has luckily not happened to him. He is a serious student who is in mostly honors/AP classes and no sports. Horrible. The school compared to many others is a catastrophe. The only thing that keeps me coming back is football and sometimes that's not enough.
