we park in the hug and go and i got out and went to say by to my kids and the principal came out and yelled at me i would not recommend this school

The admin at this school look for themselves first and not the students or the staff. Violent and misbehaving students are kept in class and are always sent back to the classroom to disrupt the flow of teaching. There is a disconnect between what teachers need and what admin want.

My kids and I's experience with pre-K into 1st grade have been wonderful. This sweet little neighborhood school proves big things come in small packages. My kids have had great relationships with their teachers - both in preschool and big kids school. Teachers and administrators are engaged and proactively communicate with parents. We love Secrest Elementary!
