Holy Spirit Preparatory School's mission statement is to grow the faith and knowledge of its students in equal measure. Teaching prekindergarten to 12th Grade, this two-campus private Catholic school employs methods including cross-curricular integration, team-learning, differentiated assessment, and hands-on experience to enrich the minds of its students. The school incorporates Christian values and daily prayer into instruction. Students can celebrate Mass weekly and confession is offered daily. Third through fifth grade students who score high on standardized tests can enroll in the Seton Center gifted program. Additionally, the donor-supplied Arts Alliance fund supplements the fine and performing arts curriculum providing music, theater and arts departments. Further achievement is encouraged through extracurriculars including chess club, debate, FBLA, marine biology and an honor society. The school offers its student athletes cross country, volleyball, football, swimming, golf and tennis.

The quality of education is much better than public school. I couldn't think of a better place to send my childrens to learn about God and become educated.

Small class size allows more individual instruction. Teachers are always willing to give extra assistance to students. Catholicism is central to HSP's curriculum.

It's a very small school and feels that way especially in high school. Very limited social life. Some of the teachers have been great; however the turnover is very high every year. You never know who is going to stay or go and its usually the really good ones Who leave. They also don't really listen to parents except for a few. On the positive side, the students there are very close and generally supportive of one another.

Our son attended HSP for 3 years, but ultimately we chose to transfer him to another school. The teachers want to support students with learning differences, but the school lacks the expertise. As stated by many others on this site, administrators are oblivious to the bullying and high stress levels...

Our kids have been here for several years. I feel like the faculty has found its groove and the teachers are phenomenal this year. The academics are rigorous and the faith piece is beautiful.
