Home to almost 600 Pre-K to 5th grade students, Parkside Elementary School prides itself on forming an inclusive and tolerant environment where all learners can cultivate a basis of confidence and compassion that will serve them well throughout the rest of their lives. An exceptionally diverse public school, minority students will feel well-represented amongst their peers and should have no difficulty forming friendships with fellow students of various different backgrounds. Taking full advantage of its better than average student to teacher ratio, the school's gifted and talent development program provides individualized instruction for the students with the aptitude to perform above the standard elementary school level. The school also hosts a number of extracurricular enrichment teams and clubs including piano, drama, soccer, golf, tennis, karate, pre-engineering, ballet, and many others. All enrichment activities require a minimum enrollment for each club to operate, so interested parents should be sure to get an early start to ensure their child can participate in these exciting activities.

She also has fun and really looks forward to school and learning. The PTA does a great job of including families...

We have had an excellent experience with this school, the educators and staff! The PTA is very active and works hard to support the amazing principal.

My kid goes to Parkside since Pre-K and she is in 4th Grade now. We couldn't be happier with the school, Teachers respond quickly to all emails when I have a question, and Great PTA always takes care of school and kids well being. Do not care about the individual students only numbers. Poor decision makers in charge. The school sends out automated messages with poor grammar and it’s embarrassing.
