Lakeway Elementary School serves over 550 students from kindergarten through fifth grade and is located in the Bee Cave suburb of Austin, Texas. Standardized testing shows 75% of its students are proficient or better at math and 76% are proficient or better at reading. The school has also earned a state accountability rating of “A” and a score of 93 in student achievements. The curriculum is based on the Texas Essential Knowledge and Skills guidelines and focuses on courses such as science, language arts, and reading. This is designed to teach the fundamentals to children while still challenging them.
