The founders of the Premier High Schools network understood that the one-size-fits-all traditional high school doesn’t work for everyone. They therefore set out to create an alternative in which every type of learner could excel. Today, there are 50 Premier campuses across the United States, helping thousands of high school students realize their potential. As a public charter, the doors of Premier High School are open to all, tuition-free. Upon enrollment, students work with faculty to create a personalized graduation plan. Small classes ensure one-on-one instruction, and a shortened schedule — just four hours — makes it possible for students to balance their studies with other responsibilities. Students work through their curriculum at their own pace instead of by class or grade level. They can take as much — or as little — time as they need to absorb material. As a result, many students graduate in three years or less. Whether post-graduation plans include college, the military or immediately joining the workforce, Premier Wells Branch has programs to help students achieve their goals. Through partnerships with local community colleges, many students earn college credits or receive hands-on training in fields such as teaching, family services and construction trades well before graduation day. Premier High Schools recognizes that every individual’s learning journey is unique. Here, students can chart a path to success that is as one-of-a-kind as they are.
