It's a tight knit community. It's like a big family. All of my teachers and staff are so supportive and nice. I haven't had a bad experience with my school. I'm happy to be there and wouldn't want to go anywhere else.

Garces does a great job with involvement of students and parents. Teachers all care about the kids, and will work to make kids successful. Such a great atmosphere.

During my time at Garces, we were a co-institutional school and my last year we had classes with the boys as well. The Dominican Sisters and the Christian Brothers were excellent. I enjoyed my classes and extracurriculars like Sodality, yearbook, the newspaper, ASB, Girls' State, CSF. I made a wide group of friends. I remember the Olympics challenges for the Latin, Spanish, and French classes.

GMHS has always had a special place in my heart. As an alumnae of Garces, I can say that it greatly helps prepare students for college as well as opens many doors.

GMHS Is An excellent school, their academic program is set to help the top students to advance more in their education and at the same time helps all students through "collaboration " an instructional time that every other day the teachers work guiding students and resolving doubts . My son is an amazing football player an has great grades, however we are not wealthy as some of the students so he cannot play ball and or get the teachers attention when he needs help. This school is a waste of money and a popularity contest. If your broke you won't fit in! How's that for a CATHOLI...

Garces has no principal. The current one is temporary. The administration/counseling personal lack administrative credentials. Multiple teaching positions were vacant and filled with relatives or friends. Grade inflation. Definitely look elsewhere for quality private school education.
