GreatSchools Rating
The GreatSchools Rating helps parents compare schools within a state based on a variety of school quality indicators and provides a helpful picture of how effectively each school serves all of its students. Ratings are on a scale of 1 (below average) to 10 (above average) and can include test scores, college readiness, academic progress, advanced courses, equity, discipline and attendance data. We also advise parents to visit schools, consider other information on school performance and programs, and consider family needs as part of the school selection process.

Baltimore Design School has small class sizes and they really try to get to know students very well. By doing that it makes it easy to teach students and help them when they struggle. I love the different art pathways and I think they are helping make us career ready. I wish that there were more times in the day for our art. I wish they would change the amount of standardized testing that we take. It's too much. Standardized tests only give you a very small part of who we are as students. For many students it's not an accurate reflection of who they are as learners or people.

I had a very good experience at Baltimore Design School. However, sometimes there isn't any school spirit. Be aware that this is not a traditional high school. Therefore, there aren't any sports or interesting extracurricular activities.
