GreatSchools Rating
The GreatSchools Rating helps parents compare schools within a state based on a variety of school quality indicators and provides a helpful picture of how effectively each school serves all of its students. Ratings are on a scale of 1 (below average) to 10 (above average) and can include test scores, college readiness, academic progress, advanced courses, equity, discipline and attendance data. We also advise parents to visit schools, consider other information on school performance and programs, and consider family needs as part of the school selection process.

Even though I have only attended Perry Hall High School for about 10 months, it sums up the average Baltimore County high school. By average, I mean decent. I will say that the one thing that separates Perry Hall from the rest are it's athletic and band programs, as a large number of sports clubs and our marching band constantly are competing with the best in the county and have the ability to dominate for the most part.

Freshman year was the year to learn more about high school, going to homecoming, trying out for sports, going to football games and having fun. Then came sophmore year, it felt like everything was happeing all at once. i had to deal with harder classes like gemometry and chem, it was really stressful trying to keep my grades up but in the end they turned out fine. social life is a big deal too, your trying to see who your real friends are and who arent. And then theres the pressure to think about the future im always getting asked "what do you want to do, or what do you want to be when your older." and its just hard to have the answers when youre just trying to figure out who you are right now. Overall these two years of high school have been fun, stressful and going through some self growth.

My daughter has done very well at Perry Hall. She has been involved in wonderful completer programs such as Homeland Security & Avid, that have helped her prepare for college

I very much enjoyed going to Perry Hall High. I had many amazing teachers who genuinely wanted to help us kids and set us up for a good future. The atmosphere at PH was fun. There were a whole lot of kids, but we didn’t mind. It made for interesting classes and a lot of friends. I would want my futu...

I have two kids in this school right now. My son, who is a senior has seen mixed results. Teachers are good but overwhelmed with over crowded classrooms. So, kids get lost in the sauce if they are shy or not really vocal about what they need. Add in the well known issue of kids getting passing marks...

School is extremely overcrowded. Students run the school. Administration and SRO’s have no control. Unsafe environment. They need to put metal detectors in the building. Establish better rapport between educators, students, administrators, and SRO. My child has been harassed and physically attacked....
