GreatSchools Rating
The GreatSchools Rating helps parents compare schools within a state based on a variety of school quality indicators and provides a helpful picture of how effectively each school serves all of its students. Ratings are on a scale of 1 (below average) to 10 (above average) and can include test scores, college readiness, academic progress, advanced courses, equity, discipline and attendance data. We also advise parents to visit schools, consider other information on school performance and programs, and consider family needs as part of the school selection process.

Benjamin Cardozo High's full of supportive students and faculty. The food here is so much better than at my previous school, and it's free? I eat daily. However, I have a strong suspicion of gang activity here and we have had some "famous" students (murder, assault, etc) so... that may be important for you guys. But keep to the good crowd, and you'll be okay.

During my 3 and ongoing 4 years of Cardozo, I have had the best time. I had my ups and downs however, but it still didn't get in the way of me enjoying my high school experience. Along my high school journey, I've met great friends and as well staff members who I connected with.

Some of the classes and teachers are of great quality, while others are simply boring or waste time. There are fights in the hallways at times and administration is slow to react. Regardless, it's my school, and I'm glad I went.

dont let this schools past fool you, this is nothing but an average high school and nothing special. yes it may have been great but with foolish decisions made by the staff and with every class having over 30 kids, your child is better off going to their zoned high school. say what you want but thei...

It's great and fun. Most people are nice and polite to each other. It is a very safe school due to many security guards, and many teachers make it fun to learn. The teachers make learning a fun opportunity for us to enjoy. They make us want to come to class often. The tests are difficult level, and...
