this school is well-known by many as one of the best schools in Queens- many people move into the neighborhood in order to be zoned here. the teachers are diligent in teaching the students, though there are a few lax/not great ones. the school culture is very defined, with events such as the GS challenge, senior trips, abundant amount of clubs/activities, etc. students are motivated to do their best and be involved with the community. their sp/g&t programs are vigorous and offer unique prospects. ultimately a great educational environment.

The academics are the main focus here. Everything is based on rigor. The teachers want to make sure you are ready for high school.

I dont know what the other people are saying, but this is an amazing school. Most of the teachers there are 100% into teaching you and genuinely care about your grades (i say most, there are no perfect schools out there!). The people who wrote bad reviews just can't manage the time and are pessimist...

This school, has by far some of the worst teacher, some that have deteriorated my and my peers mental health. Some of the most appealing experiences. A certain science teacher sabotages the grade of some students by posting homework but then not telling anyone like we are supposed to figure out ours...
