GreatSchools Rating

Source: GreatSchools
GreatSchools Rating
The GreatSchools Rating helps parents compare schools within a state based on a variety of school quality indicators and provides a helpful picture of how effectively each school serves all of its students. Ratings are on a scale of 1 (below average) to 10 (above average) and can include test scores, college readiness, academic progress, advanced courses, equity, discipline and attendance data. We also advise parents to visit schools, consider other information on school performance and programs, and consider family needs as part of the school selection process.

I really like the teachers in the MTCA academy they always made sure every student was getting the help they need and a huge impact was Ms. Cho she always made sure students from 9-12 had schools supplies she always provide supplies for all the students in the academy. Overall staff at bell high school were amazing they always made you feel welcome and were able to feel safe as well as all year her would help other students when they need the help and the staff was always happy to be there which really makes an impact on us students wanting to attend school every day.My worst experience at bell was when a girl was trying to fight me and I had told a trusted teacher and he said to report it and I did because I knew college was on the line and I was not going to fight because that is so immature. I was not going to let that affect my college acceptance. When I made the report they had me in the office not letting me inform my mother and they did not let me advocate for myself .

Bell is one of the few places I would relive. Not to change anything that I regret, just to experience all over again; even the bad parts make me smile looking back on it. The few people I was close to truly made my time there worthwhile. The teachers and educators only made it better. My academy felt so homey and familiar, and it really set me up for STEM related fields.

I graduated 2014. I was not prepared for college. I feel that this school failed me. I didn’t know how important taking certain classes during HS would benefit me. I had some good/carrying teachers. Over all I wish I didn’t attend this school. I did NOT get the guidance I needed to be successful. I...

After reading all the reviews provided on the site I can not help but agree with the majority of what others have had to say. Most teachers in tracks B, C, and D do not care much for their students. Homework is not a priority for them but that does not mean they do not care and support them in any w...

Over all such of horrible experience and I...

Wow so many "community" members talking about "accountability" for teachers! You by chance wouldn't be from Families in Schools or some other teacher -bashing organization would you? Because most members of our community do not talk in such "talking point" language. By the way, Bell used to be a muc...
