The staff was very friendly and safety is definitely their number one priority. Their education offered is affordable and staff is well educated. The classroom and facilities were clean and nicely laid out.

Things I enjoyed were the sheer number of available AP courses offered to the students and the enormous overwhelming success of those who took the AP tests. The teachers were overall pleasant and the environment/extracurriculars charming. Something I would change would probably be the school spirit, there just seemed to be a lack of gusto and it was more fun to berrate the school than to boost it up despite it being a very adequate and well-designed high school

Overall, I have had a good experience at Bellefonte Area High School. I have found the performing arts participation very gratifying. Academically, there are options where I can challenge myself. Not much diversity in the student body. Not a lot of healthy food choices either.
