West Johnston is a great school. The teachers individually are all great and I have always seemed to get a lot out of my teachers. Safety has improved a lot and the administration has become more proactive over the years. Only negative thing is some policies like unreasonable dress code when it comes to female short lengths and having to wait outside of the school until 7:05am before going in when the bell rings at 7:15am.

It wasn't a good experience. Everyone there has there own clicks and its not diverse. The faculty themselves are rude and there are about 3-4 actual colored people there. They don't incorporate other cultures into the school.

I enjoy being a student at West Johnston, but there are many factors that are not the best. For example, there is a punishment issued for standing in the hallways during class change. This allows for almost no social interaction beyond the classroom or the lunchroom. On the other hand, West Johnston had a great atmosphere. There are many teachers that students feel welcome to talk to and there is always a support system.

The principle treats the students and parents like elementary school kids. Understandably because that is her background. She is teaching the students to be cattle and sheep instead of strong Individuals.

This is an agricultural-focused high school with a complete lack of regard for anyone who does not fit into the school's culture.
