I really enjoyed groves over my 4 years of being here. The teachers and staff are very respectful and loving.

To me, the best part of Groves is the teachers. They are incredibly supportive, and I always feel safe and cared for with them. The worst part for me is the other students and how they treat me and my classmates. Even when a teacher is notified about a kid, or a group of kids bullying someone, they do everything in their power to stop it, but most of the time it doesn't really stop. But even when bullying occurs, the staff always does their best to stop it, and talk about it in the classroom.

Its a very good school to go to if thinking about going to a high-school in Birmingham, it has a variety of different subjects, electives, and sports, its very diverse and welcomes all cultures and sexualitys.

This is a great school. There are so many options for the students. With a wide range of great academic courses to extracurricular activities there seems to be something for everyone. Exceptional! Dr. Embekka Roberson (Thompson) is a wonderful principal. She doesn’t just talk in circles about issues, she listens and solves problems. She is visible in our community. Dr. Roberson is patient, kind, and strong.

I am currently at groves, however I am switching to seaholm nest year. While I have been at groves, it has not been a good experience. The teachers were nice, and the counselors were helpful, the people there aren't all that nice. Some students are very distracting and disruptive during class, other...
