As a senior in math science, I feel as if this school does not accurately represent me on the school profile. As stated in other reviews, our access to a wider variety of AP classes results in a lower GPA when compared to students in other departments. Do not come to ASFA if you are a STEM student

ASFA is a fantastic choice for students who are uber focused on THEIR THING, be that performing arts, visual arts, music, or math/science.

Alabama School of Fine Arts is a demanding school. Though no matter what specialty you do it will prepare you for the future. Though the work load may be tough to hold up it's worth it in the end.

I attended ASFA 35 years ago and my daughter is in her 4th year there now. She is in Theatre Arts and we have loved everything about the school.
