Ephesus Academy is a private, religious school in Birmingham that is part of a global Seventh-day Adventist educational network. Originally established in 1897, its current structure was built in 1975 as enrollment continued to expand. In 1987, another building addition was completed, including a child development center. The facility now consists of 14 classrooms, a library, science lab, gymnasium, cafeteria and large playground area. Ephesus Academy serves students from preschool through 12th grade and has a total enrollment of about 160 students. Student meals are included in tuition costs, and transportation is provided for a fee. Most Ephesus Academy graduates go on to attend a four-year college, and the school offers online university classes. The school strives for students to be academically successful and community-service oriented. Part of the school’s mission is for the faculty to promote safety and academic excellence while being sensitive to students’ individual needs.

I'd recommend Ephesus Academy for a Christian education. The teachers are individually caring and the staff is nice. The academics are decent and the school has a lot of spirit.

My experience of this school is great! The staff is friendly, and they are there for the children. When my child is at school I have a peace of mind, becuase I know she is safe, learning, and not being overlooked. Who this person is that gave this negative comment, maybe this wasn't for you and you...

I have interacted with a staff member in the main office of Ephesus Academy, and she was rude. I called on more than one occasion to voice a concern to the administrator but he/she was never available. If this is the treatment I received as a member of the community, I am sure the children and paren...

My children began going there in January and everything was fine, but then the volume of students grew exponentially in about a month's time due to their acceptance of the new Alabama Sch...
