GreatSchools Rating
The GreatSchools Rating helps parents compare schools within a state based on a variety of school quality indicators and provides a helpful picture of how effectively each school serves all of its students. Ratings are on a scale of 1 (below average) to 10 (above average) and can include test scores, college readiness, academic progress, advanced courses, equity, discipline and attendance data. We also advise parents to visit schools, consider other information on school performance and programs, and consider family needs as part of the school selection process.

Bisbee High School has been an experience of a life time. You'll meet many of those who will be there for the rest of your life and more. It was a time I will never forget when I grow old.

I appreciated how hard the instructors worked on giving the students the top notch education we deserved and preparing us for college curriculums. An update to school materials such as textbooks , desks, and lockers as well as security would be great. I'm sure much as improved since I have graduated and I hope the students and staff continue to excel in their education.

I love Bisbee and how small knit of a community we are, but I would not come here again. The school is very poor, so more and more classes are being taken away from us, leaving us with nothing to learn. So many things in Bisbee are great traditions; the pick game is the best. On the other hand, coming here again would not be the best option for me to get me where I need to be.

Most of the reviews are old and outdated. Bisbee High School is a great option and doing much better since Darin Giltner became principal.

I am a parent and a BHS alumni. The major problems at Bisbee are related mostly to poverty and lack of financial support from the State of Arizona. Bisbee has always supported our schools even as other nearby communities much wealthier did not. It is hard to find great high school teachers in Arizon...

Going downhill in every way. Leadership cares more about their image than substance. Many if the teachers care more about local politics than teaching. There is also a massive drug problem that administration goes to great lengths to cover up. I have kids in this district but I will pull them before...

I both graduated from the school and am now a parent in the district. I found I was prepared well and thoroughly by my teachers. Classes are small and the faculty very accessible and caring. The principal is engaged and innovative. It is a great school getting better each year.
