GreatSchools Rating
The GreatSchools Rating helps parents compare schools within a state based on a variety of school quality indicators and provides a helpful picture of how effectively each school serves all of its students. Ratings are on a scale of 1 (below average) to 10 (above average) and can include test scores, college readiness, academic progress, advanced courses, equity, discipline and attendance data. We also advise parents to visit schools, consider other information on school performance and programs, and consider family needs as part of the school selection process.

I enjoy the class content, though it could be taught with more enthusiasm as some students may feel as if they shouldn't care about the subject matter.

School year wise it wasn't bad. However, there was a lot of problems to start with. They would lock most of the school bathrooms at most times and you could only use the gender-neutral ones. If you didn't want to you were forced to walk around the whole school just to use the lunch bathrooms. They are very small two stall ones with leaky sinks. In there during lunch periods kids would be sitting on the dirty floors eating, vaping and talking. I heard rumors about the boy's ones, but I am not certain what goes on in there. The schools are out of date, and all they do is keep up with the technology and not the school itself. There is an asbestos in the ceiling and mold everywhere. (I am severely allergic to mold, and I was getting rashes from it, like what happened in the elementary in that town.) Students are extremely toxic, and they say that they are an anti-bullying school but if you give reports of it, they say they will talk to that person and get it to stop. They never do. (pt 1)

Our building is falling apart, we get our computers from other schools around us when they upgrade, and the heat is always funky, but the people in our school make it truly an amazing school. The support from staff, educators, and parents allows students here to do amazing things with the very little funding that we have. I've learned so much about life here, and would reccomend it to anyone.

Do NOT choose this school. The worst hell me and my children ever went through. Homophobic, racist, xenophobic mess and disaster. I would trust the special ed teachers to watch my popcorn cook in the microwave. Disgusting building conditions as well, looks like a prison and is a prison. Do not go to...

An excellent school! Small class size, advanced classes and a serious commitment to student learning and success are all elements of BMRSD. The music program is year after year the home to the National marching band champions. So many opportunities in this school it is hard to even list them all. In...
