The GreatSchools Rating helps parents compare schools within a state based on a variety of school quality indicators and provides a helpful picture of how effectively each school serves all of its students. Ratings are on a scale of 1 (below average) to 10 (above average) and can include test scores, college readiness, academic progress, advanced courses, equity, discipline and attendance data. We also advise parents to visit schools, consider other information on school performance and programs, and consider family needs as part of the school selection process.

I loved at Central Columbia. My time at highschool was well spent mostly because of the teachers. It was a place that I felt truly cared for and poured into. The teachers spent time with students patiently helping them along the way and also made efforts to make personal connections. I transferred in at 9th grade so it was difficult, but Central made it easier. I want more diversity in the student body, that is one thing I felt was lacking

My experience with this school was overall pretty good because of all the support you receive from your teachers and other staff. I'm an introvert so my only issue with this school is the amount of public speaking we have to do. I don't think anything has to change about my school.

I am currently a high schools student here, it is a very good high school in comparison to others in the area. This high school, and the faculty, does a great job preparing students for college, and their future.

We love it here, the kids had IEP transfer over smoothly, kids are nice here, education is on point. I have elementary and middle school kids. Teachers really care for students.

Central is fairly average for a ruralish school. It's fairly small but has pretty good academics(5 or 6 AP courses) for a school its size. Unlike the other review, I've never found it overly cliquey or racist. Yes, its true that the school district is probably 90-95 percent white but I've never seen...

Central has a acceptable education but, this school is not for kids with any self-esteem problems..Central is a very cliquey school. If you do not get in with the popular crowd or are rich then it makes it hard for you in the school even if you are satisfied with your own group of friends. If you ar...
