I've attended BLHS all four years of my high school career and I've greatly enjoyed my time. Of course, there will always be downsides to attending a public school. However, I have searched in the right places and have found teachers and students alike who support me for who I am and what O aspire to be.

I didn't get to spend much time inside the actual school. My freshman year was hybrid because of COVID-19 and my sophomore year we were in and out of school. In my junior year, I started dual enrollment at TCL so I was only in school for half the day. In my senior year, I am doing dual enrollment full-time this year. It has been fairly easy to work with the counselors and administration for me to be able to do all of this. I would like to see there be more accommodation for dual enrollment students though. Sometimes the schedules for school and college don't align when there are meetings or things at the school I have to attend.

At Bluffton High School there is good diversity with roughly 50% or more of the student population being minorities. This creates an environment with different views and perspectives which I enjoy hearing about. The worst experience I have had was with my chemistry teacher who cursed at students, talked bad about her other classes, and chose obvious favorites.

I have had two children attend and graduate from this school. Our experience has been nothing but positive. The teachers and coaches go above and beyond to make sure their students are successful and leave there with a sense of confidence and readiness to enter college or the work force. I could not...

I moved from New York to Bluffton. I went through the schools, and I absolutely hate it. It's a "Who you know" type of school. The ignorance, and lack of diversity is terrible. As a student, I saw it all. The grossest classrooms or bathrooms-the rudest teachers-rude kids-and an administration that D...

The school hosted a open house last week. I have never seen more unorganized fiasco. Envision 900 kids in a room trying to get their schedules will no semblance of order. We left after standing in line for 30 minutes(and didn't move. Doesn't speak to highly of the admin staff that organized this eve...
