GreatSchools Rating
The GreatSchools Rating helps parents compare schools within a state based on a variety of school quality indicators and provides a helpful picture of how effectively each school serves all of its students. Ratings are on a scale of 1 (below average) to 10 (above average) and can include test scores, college readiness, academic progress, advanced courses, equity, discipline and attendance data. We also advise parents to visit schools, consider other information on school performance and programs, and consider family needs as part of the school selection process.

I believe that I was the first person in my family to attend high school in the US so for most of it I was just winging it and going with the flow. The school and teachers helped with the transition immensely and the students are great but some people were/can be immature. Overall, great experience so far, and can't wait to graduate along with my peers.

I really liked the flexibility of class schedules and classes in general. Most of my electives were in fine arts classes but I did spend some credits in a mythology class and graphic design.

North Oconee is a great school with teachers who believe in their students. The faculty & staff go above and beyond for students.

North Oconee helps my children succeed. Everyone there is very kind and helpful and my kids have made many friends. The schedules are very organized and the school gives breaks for students. The courses are amazing and the school even provides free tutoring every Tuesday. The school is a place that...

Outstanding school from top to bottom. Academic, Athletics & Personal Growth, Safety and Well-being. There's a clear reason why this school is one of the top high schools in the country and why the county is (unfortunately) seeing so much growth. My only concern is if Oconee County continues to see...

We moved to Oconee County for the school system. My child has had rigorous classes & an opportunity to excel at NOHS. My only regret is that my child has experienced racial bias by some students, teachers & administrators.
