I graduated from RIS in 2006. Obviously I have no idea about the current state of the school, but I can say unequivocally that Riverstone was fundamental in my development as a young man, a citizen, and an independent thinker. For me, the teachers and the outdoor education component set Riverstone apart.

I was an early grad of Riverstone and the school has done nothing but grow and flourish since I attended. The college preparation was fantastic. I had close relationships with all of my teachers, many of which I still have relationships with to this day.

As a former student I can definitively say that this school was a foundational part of my success later in life. It was such a rigorous and effective education that university education felt trivial throughout my entire undergraduate degree. While rigorous, it was never burdensome or overly demanding, which I chalk up to the effectiveness of the teachers.
