GreatSchools Rating
The GreatSchools Rating helps parents compare schools within a state based on a variety of school quality indicators and provides a helpful picture of how effectively each school serves all of its students. Ratings are on a scale of 1 (below average) to 10 (above average) and can include test scores, college readiness, academic progress, advanced courses, equity, discipline and attendance data. We also advise parents to visit schools, consider other information on school performance and programs, and consider family needs as part of the school selection process.

It is a great high school with great staff who want nothing but the best for their student. They have many different groups and clubs to be a part of and tons sports with great coaches who are always there for their players.

I was very scared for highschool going into freshman year because I was coming from a middle school with a class of 12. I knew highschool was going to be a lot different from middle school. There would be more students and more teachers. It turns out my fears were unfounded. The teachers are very nice and helpful. The teachers at BHS make it feel like home.

Boonville High School has great teachers who care about their students wellbeing and are willing to work with students on a personal level to ensure good education. The school does have a problem with acceptance of LGBTQ+ individuals though, and has shown homophobia in the past.

Boonville High School is fantastic for any child! I went to High School Here, so I moved back, so my daughter could be in the best school system around.

Most of the male teachers are hired based on their ability to coach a sport, not on the basis of being great educators. Also, administration tends to penalize students heavily who are not involved with sports a...
