The GreatSchools Rating helps parents compare schools within a state based on a variety of school quality indicators and provides a helpful picture of how effectively each school serves all of its students. Ratings are on a scale of 1 (below average) to 10 (above average) and can include test scores, college readiness, academic progress, advanced courses, equity, discipline and attendance data. We also advise parents to visit schools, consider other information on school performance and programs, and consider family needs as part of the school selection process.

I transferred to this school to finish my high school education and it was greatly relieving! I had 8.5 credits when I came to this school and after 2 years, I came out with 44 credits!

Mott Haven has been overall amazing to me since the moment I went in for their open house. All of the teachers and staff have been nothing but helpful and motivational. They truly push for their students to succeed and will do anything to help them.

The teachers at this school are very dedicated and connect well with the students. They are very understanding and helpful. Their lessons are entertaining and informative. I couldn't imagine better teachers than the ones at this school.
They enforce very unfair rules such as no bathroom access for multiple periods a day, denying access to students coming after 9:15 am no matter the reason, and only letting one person out of the room at a time. I have been denied access to the school many times due to delays in trains/buses, and eve...
My child called me at 930 Am saying she was denied access in the freezing cold because she was 10 minutes late. She has to travel by train and bus for nearly an hour just so they can send her back home. They wasted her travel fairs, her time, and left her feeling disrespected. This school has been g...

The schools in the past had no knowledge of understanding how to prepare a black young man for the future. Parents need teachers of a school to help with raisin...
