I went to PS 72 for most of my life (PK-5) but I graduated 3 years ago and am going to high school now. I thank this school for really helping me get to where I am now. It is with the help of my fifth grade teacher that I am going to one of the best private schools in the city now. The teachers really care and really want you to be your best self there. My experience was some time ago, however, so there has been some changes in administration (although I do believe that it is mostly the same). I made some lasting friendships and had the time of my life being in clubs, honor roll, etc. I gave it four stars simply because depending on who you hang out with or the other kids at school, you can be exposed to some odd behaviors at a young age. Once we were able to eat lunch with the fifth graders (at 2nd grade level), I was exposed to fighting. (Then again my brothers fifth grade class was filled with wild children!)

This school won’t tell me anything about my kids and my kids keep coming home saying that they are scared

Horrible. It is a big mistake that I sent my kid to this school. I regretted a lot.

I feel that the positive reviews here must be fake, because this is not the school you want your child going to. The teachers try, but the leadership is horrible and they have been retaining a large number of students in order to have those children raise the scores for the school to get it off the...
