PS 218 is ok as a school. The teachers work very hard to teach their students different skills. But... the school has a bad case of bullying, bad language, and disrespect. If I had a chance to go to this school I would deny it. The school might have fun trips and sports, but some teachers can get very aggressive a rude and might even judge a student by their race. My friends 2nd grade teacher judged her b her skin color and not by who she was. This is why I chose this Niche Grade.

I recommend not going to the school it has a really big case of bullying I hade a kid say the n word toward my soon and the teachers would hear it would not even say anything they would bully you and harass you about your skin color if you black the teachers have a really big favoritism over Hispani...

I have worked at this school as a substitute teacher for many years. I have to say that P.S. I.S. 218 Rafael Hernandez Dual Language school is a good example of school where learning happens everyday. Students demonstrate to have joy for learning. Students feel safe to take risk and use their voice...
