The GreatSchools Rating helps parents compare schools within a state based on a variety of school quality indicators and provides a helpful picture of how effectively each school serves all of its students. Ratings are on a scale of 1 (below average) to 10 (above average) and can include test scores, college readiness, academic progress, advanced courses, equity, discipline and attendance data. We also advise parents to visit schools, consider other information on school performance and programs, and consider family needs as part of the school selection process.

Overall my experience at the Highschool for Teaching and the Professions is an experience I remember fondly, I think improvements that can be made would involve more funding to the school however, things like fundraising so more expensive trips or trips more often could be funded as well as more interactive school events so students can be more involved. I did not go on many school trips or find some of the events that did occur to be interactive or interest many students.

What i liked was how we had a teaching class that we can teach our peers to get experience. What i didnt like was how rude the staff was and how unprofessional they were.

We are making great things happen here at T&P. We are expanding the Virtual Enterprise program and bringing back the Pre-teaching program in a huge way. T&P is making quantum leaps!
