Marist is an incredible school. The administration and teachers care deeply about the students. The academics and sports programs are top notch (truly outstanding). The school cares about instilling character in its students, not just churning out test takers, and its emphasis on servant leadership is evident. Overall, we could not be more pleased.

Marist has a great culture for sports and academics with lots of Alumni participation. It has a great group of teachers with all the resources for students to succeed in all aspects of their high school careers.

I found Marist to be a school with a strong emphasis on academic excellence and a supportive community. The best part was the dedicated teachers and the wide range of extracurricular activities. The worst part was the outdated facilities. I would like to see more investment in modernizing the school infrastructure.

Blatant racism has been a hallmark of this school for decades. I had an American History teacher and football coach in class insist the “War of Northern Aggression ” (you may know it as the US Civil War) wasn’t about slavery at all and slaves were in fact well treated because they were important pos...

If you are seeking diversity, this is not the place. If you or your child is African American, this is not the place. If you have a child that can handle being exposed to racism, bullying and favoritism, well, you may be in luck at this school. If you have a child that will easily allow blatant racis...

First off the community at Marist is top notch, most of the families are very supportive of the students and the school. My problem is with the staff and safety at the school. My son was shadowing his eighth grade year at the school. While in PE class his sponsor student, and several other students...

The school does a great job with bullying and has an effective administration. Anyone who says other wise is a parent looking in and doesn't fully understand the inner workings of the school. The teachers are some of the best in the state and many have moved from being college professors to teaching...
