Overall the school has been good and I have met people I would stay in touch with past high school. I would say that the math department could be better.

I mostly enjoyed the community inside of the school. There were many student targeted activities and trips planned.

Brooklyn High School of the Arts is a all-around average school. The teachers are okay, the environment is fine, and being a NYC public school, the lunch is always revolting. Still, the classes are usually interesting and educating. The teachers really care and the clubs really feel like a little community inside a community. If there's one thing I would change, it would be to make the girls locker-room as big as the boys one. (Why is their locker-room so big??)

For an art school you really question doing art in the first place. Also for some reason no teacher is ever available when you need them, strange.

I have enjoyed learning at Brooklyn High School of the Arts. I made many friends and all the teachers are very supportive. We have many great showcases every year. If you love to sing, dance, act, or knows how to play an instrument, you should join this amazing family and make it better!
