GreatSchools Rating
The GreatSchools Rating helps parents compare schools within a state based on a variety of school quality indicators and provides a helpful picture of how effectively each school serves all of its students. Ratings are on a scale of 1 (below average) to 10 (above average) and can include test scores, college readiness, academic progress, advanced courses, equity, discipline and attendance data. We also advise parents to visit schools, consider other information on school performance and programs, and consider family needs as part of the school selection process.

Overall one of my favorite high schools I've went to. The teachers are kind and when you don't understand the topic, they go out they're way to make sure that you know the curriculum. Something I want to see different would be the amount of clubs they have, and to make them fun and not droning.

This an amazing school. The teachers are so kind and the school has such a positive environment. Also the academics here are great and quite rigorous. They give good college prep for students when doing college admissions. Also they offer a variety of extracurricular activities.

Frederick Douglass Academy VII is a very small, comfy school. Everyone is like family, which is not like any other school I have been to,
