My overall experience and childhood at P.S.156 was very good. I always go back to visit after school to see old teachers. They are my second family.

There are huge achievement gaps at this school. The school goal sets for small incremental gains as opposed to taking an aggressive approach to move all students to proficiency levels. It is concerning as this is a Title 1 school and I don’t believe that all of the resources are being made available...

I love this school. My son started for Kindergarten and is now in the 3rd grade. Because of what he learned here, he was recruited to a G&T school. We actually hated the G&T and was grateful that this school took him back. Re-registered him on one day and he was back the next. They also assisted wit...
