The GreatSchools Rating helps parents compare schools within a state based on a variety of school quality indicators and provides a helpful picture of how effectively each school serves all of its students. Ratings are on a scale of 1 (below average) to 10 (above average) and can include test scores, college readiness, academic progress, advanced courses, equity, discipline and attendance data. We also advise parents to visit schools, consider other information on school performance and programs, and consider family needs as part of the school selection process.

My experience with The Academy of Urban Planning and Engineering has been pretty good. The teachers are very helpful and knowledgeable, and there are plenty of resources offered to struggling students who need a little help. There are plenty of clubs and sports teams to join, and it's overall a pretty good school.

The best parts are the classes that are offered to challenge the students and help prepare them for college such as the 10+ AP classes provided to students to help them acquire college credits early before graduation. The worst part on the other hand is the food, ewww eww eww.
