GreatSchools Rating
The GreatSchools Rating helps parents compare schools within a state based on a variety of school quality indicators and provides a helpful picture of how effectively each school serves all of its students. Ratings are on a scale of 1 (below average) to 10 (above average) and can include test scores, college readiness, academic progress, advanced courses, equity, discipline and attendance data. We also advise parents to visit schools, consider other information on school performance and programs, and consider family needs as part of the school selection process.

Woke and pushing sexualized agenda especially in IB program. The students went to NYC as a trip this year and had to watch Moulin Rouge. My son said it was gross and was surprised the school took them there since it is about a strip club. A teacher in the IB program is pushing rated R movies (2 this year) for students 16 and 17. The movies are highly sexual and violent. Why does the school district allow students who are under 18 watch rated R moves and as part of 'education'? What are they being educated on exactly? The school will not allow parents to know and see what the kids are being taught. I wish we weren't here but too late to turn back. The college resources are not helpful.

Harriton Senior High School offers outstanding resources and technology, with dedicated and understanding teachers. However, to improve, the school should prioritize diversity initiatives, such as cultural events, diverse curriculum, and recruiting more diverse staff. Affinity groups can also support underrepresented students. These efforts will foster a more inclusive and enriching educational environment. .

As a school it's not especially great or terrible. There's some fun stuff there if you know where to look but on the whole it's just okay

Great school, great teachers, and overall nice kids. The support that they offer is fantastic.

Sufficient but not nurturing to my excellent student. Most of the teachers are excellent, but the overall culture is overprivileged and myopic. Way too typical high school where the achievements of varsity athletes are valued above all else.

Great school if your student is a self sufficient high achiever. But if your student is not, look elsewhere. I had a teacher say to me "God help the B student in this school. They are overlooked and ignored." Teachers don't teach, they "throw" information at students. If you student knows how to cat...

The best of the best of schools. Very high caliber students, teachers, principals, guidance counselors, courses and extracurriculars. I can't imagine any better high school.
