GreatSchools Rating
The GreatSchools Rating helps parents compare schools within a state based on a variety of school quality indicators and provides a helpful picture of how effectively each school serves all of its students. Ratings are on a scale of 1 (below average) to 10 (above average) and can include test scores, college readiness, academic progress, advanced courses, equity, discipline and attendance data. We also advise parents to visit schools, consider other information on school performance and programs, and consider family needs as part of the school selection process.

Big Picture is by far the most "alternate" high school". Every Tuesday and Thursday students leave and go to internships. This is great because students actually get real world experience. Though this also has a big draw back. Students only have three days/hours of math class a week. This may seem great though in the long run can hurt quite a lot. Thankfully running start is a option and highly recommended by all teachers to make up for the lack of any faults.

It is a really good school where you learn through internships which they abbreviate it to LTI. I have already had 4 internships while still in high school. The math classes need to be better.

I used to go to this school in 7th grade and I had a really bad experience. The tests scores are some of the worst in the state and there is no high school credit in middle school. Unlike other middle schools at this school there is no band and there are very few elective choices. There are very few teachers and they pay way too much attention to each student and you stay in one room all day which is like elementary and not middle school. This is why I would rate it one star.

I love this school, my daughter started here as a sophomore and now is at the end of her Jr year. The interns are great for the kids to try different types if careers and find what they like. My daughter is able to go to big picture m-w-f, and then on Tuesday and Thursday she is staying all day at t...
