GreatSchools Rating
The GreatSchools Rating helps parents compare schools within a state based on a variety of school quality indicators and provides a helpful picture of how effectively each school serves all of its students. Ratings are on a scale of 1 (below average) to 10 (above average) and can include test scores, college readiness, academic progress, advanced courses, equity, discipline and attendance data. We also advise parents to visit schools, consider other information on school performance and programs, and consider family needs as part of the school selection process.

very small and everybody knows one another. They are pretty good with college readiness and really push it. Teachers and administrators can be much better.

I liked the small town feel of the school. I enjoyed getting to know everyone and feeling like a part of the tight-knit community. I would like to see more funding put towards sport and further students' academic opportunities.

Small school going from overcrowding to being under crowded. Has some really good teachers and administration. But, the rest are very discriminatory to those with disabilities like myself.

My four children were raised in Byron schools. You get the personal touch of a private school in a quiet community. All went to higher education and graduated with Master's degrees.
