I am an AFAB Non-binary person who has known their not straight since middle school. My friend group was much the same, therefore our lives were made quite hard with no help from the school itself. I enjoyed many of my teachers but could only get all of my requirements by knowing precisely what I had to do and take. Most of the advisors don't know what they're talking about which makes it hard to complete everything on time.

Pisgah High School is very much a typical southern rural public school. We have a heavy focus on athletics and CTE classes, but when it comes to academics there are a few standout teachers that are definitely worthwhile. The arts programs are definitely less than great, but not for lack of effort, just lack of funding.

Great school with a good academic background and a fun athletics program available. I had a very good experience coming to this school and enjoyed getting to know my teachers and faculty for four years.
